From racehorses to home loans, Tui has always been up for a challenge. After spending seven years in the Thoroughbred racing industry as a trackwork rider based in Matamata, she swapped 3 a.m. starts at the track for helping people chase a different kind of win — achieving their property goals.
While she loved the horses, the racing world, and the adrenaline that came with it, she’s pretty happy those alarm clocks are set a little later these days!
Tui joined the home lending industry in 2021 and quickly discovered a genuine passion for helping people navigate one of life’s biggest decisions. She joined the Zest Brokers team in 2023 and has loved being part of a team that helps clients chase their property goals — whether that’s stepping onto the ladder, growing their portfolio, or making their next move.
Tui knows every property journey looks different. She enjoys getting to know what’s important to each client, navigating the twists and turns of lending, and making the process as smooth as possible.
Her commitment to clients and the industry has been recognised through being named a 2026 Top 10 Regional Adviser of the Year finalist - Excellence Awardee.
When she’s not talking mortgages, Tui is usually found with her partner Andrew on their rural Rotorua lifestyle block, attempting to keep their “small zoo” of animals under control, or out exploring with Wag, her retired racehorse.
