Ben’s Northlander roots run deep. After growing up in town, he headed south for student life in Hamilton. Even while competing on the cricket pitches and squash courts, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis from the University of Waikato.
The call of adventure then took him across the globe to the UK, where he chased the sun and the cricket season for three action-packed years.
Ben’s journey wasn’t just about sport — he’s gained a wide range of work experience. From navigating the world of transport to coaching budding athletes, mastering the art of fencing, and even a brief (and delicious) stint in gourmet sausage production, he’s seen a bit of everything. This eclectic background gives him a unique, down-to-earth perspective on the real-life financial challenges we all face.
Now, back in his beloved Northland, Ben is enjoying life at home with his wife and son. He’s passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of personal insurance. He specialises in life and income protection, as well as providing expert advice on investments and KiwiSaver.
